Ahh…Beautiful British Columbia
August 5, 07
Hey Guys, sorry I haven’t posted in a few days, but I was getting ready for my nice relaxing trip out west! By relaxing, I mean eating m&m’s guilt free, and of course, tanning on the beach at least once!!
Right now I am on a beautiful Island off the coast of Vancouver called Salt Spring Island. I’m out here conducting a 2 day make.up training session for several local cosmeticians at Pharmasave. In case you haven’t heard of Pharmasave, it’s like a Shoppers Drug Mart, with it’s own little beauty boutique!
I’m also going to be bringing you a make.up video full of all the great new beauty finds and hot make.up products from Salt Spring Island! So stay tuned! Read the rest of this entry »

what’s hot for fall?
July 22, 07
There are so many things that are hot for fall this year, like the return of the Cat Eye (meeow), Red Lips (we all know how I feel about this one! haha) and of course my two favourites: the Smokey Eye and the Flawless Face!
The Flawless Face this season is all about the glowing skin, soft pink cheeks and of course a nude lip. If you are looking for the perfect nude lipgloss to go with your flawless look or smokey eye, I found an oldie but a goodie that will definitely do the trick. Try using Mac Lipglass in C-Thru. This high gloss shade will surely add a nice glow to compliment your look.
sex and the city
July 9, 07

Okay so raise your hand if you are so excited that ‘Sex and the City’ the movie is currently back in the works!! Well I know that when I read that the movie is most likely going to begin filming in the fall I almost fell off my chair. I had given up hope, of my girls ever returning to the big screen.
When the series ended i was left with so many questions, like did Charlotte end up learning Cantonese?, Are Big and Carrie going to get married…and does she need a make.up artist?! Read the rest of this entry »
sandy’s tip for acne
July 8, 07

Living with acne can be really difficult…trust me, i know! When I was hit with bad acne in my early 20’s i was devestated. I remember thinking that the only way to get rid of it was to completely dry out my face. I used every acne product on the market and avoided moisturizer, like as if it was carbs on the atkins diet!
Later I found out the exact opposite. Acne actually gets worse if your skin is too dry! So here are some tips I learned along the way, that hopefully will help you out as well! Read the rest of this entry »
