Inspired by Old Hollywood glamour – Laura Mercier’s new Black Tie Collection – is a makeup must have for this holiday season!

The collection offers everything from Glamour False Lashes to Nail Lacquers in caviar dreams and champagne wishes, as well as the limited edition Eye Colour Quad in Tuxedo, which pairs black, silver and white to create dramatic smokey eye’s in minutes.

Who Looked the Best at the 2008 American Music Awards?

Last night, I got under my nice and warm blanket (as it’s really cold here in Toronto) and watched the American Music Awards – which I really enjoyed. Everyone looked absolutely fabulous. We saw several short skirts and dresses with a lot of red/berry stained dramatic lips.

I have to give the Happiface Award for the Best Red Lips to: Christina Aguilera, because as you know Red is not just a shade it’s an attitude and confidence that Christina brings everytime!

And, the Happiface Award for the Best Overall Look goes to: ( I chose two, as they both looked equally gorgeous!): Paris Hilton and Queen Latifah.

Basil in your bathroom?

I absolutely LOVE Basil – and considering I’m half Italian, I could put Basil in just about everything!

So, when Sexy Bath and Body came out with a Citrus Basil Energizing Creamy Body Wash and Moisturizer – I couldn’t wait to try it! I used it this morning for the first time – and although it didn’t really smell so much like the herb – It was super refreshing and I loved it!

Okay, well not really with Brad Pitt himself! But, earlier this week I met up with Donna Paty, the National Education Manager for Kiehl’s who was showing me whats new and hot for Kiehl’s this season (which there is lots of great stuff!) – and after she asked me if “I wanted to take a shower with Brad Pitt” – I laughed for a good minute – then knew I just had to share this with you!

Kiehl’s recently partnered with Brad Pitt to launch a new “eco-effective” product called: Aloe Vera Biodegradable Liquid Body Cleanser – where 100% of the net profits from sales of this innovative formulation, which is Cradle to Cradle Certified, will benefit JPF Eco Systems – a charitable foundation created with Brad Pitt to support global environment initiatives.

This product is also made of 100% environmentally conscious, readily biodegradable ingredients - which means that the ingredients help to minimize impact by biodegrading in the earth within 28 days.
