Which one should I choose?

Hey Ladies! I had a photoshoot last week to get new headshots done, and I am torn between these two photo’s!! And since I have the best viewers in the world! I was wondering if I could get your help! Which one do you like the best – the first one or the second one?

I like the second head shot because it creates more light-balance on your face and the smile looks more “happy” just my two cents ^_^

I like the first one more, it inviting where as the second one seems more forward. I am no expert, but the first seems more head shot than the second which has more of your body obviously in it.

Both of these are GREAT pictures! It is hard to choose the best one of the two. They each have a different image or style I guess you would say. The first one is more subdued while the second photo is more vibrant. I guess you have to pick which image you want to portray and how the photo you choose is going to be used. Good Luck!!!

Sandi! You look beautiful in both (of course!) I love your eyes in the 2nd. I would however have the hair line on the left retouched OUT so that it doesnt block your eyes.

The first one is also beautiful – its like the perfect commercial picture… but Eyes are the window to the soul and it shows more on the 2nd.

Both are drop dead gorgeous Sandy! Your eyes, hair, and skin are absolutely stunning but I think ur cheeks are your absolute best feature and the first pics catch a good angle of them. I’m so jealous…I want some cheek implants!

Gosh.. i totally get what you mean! I had a hard time choosing too.. But I’ll have to go with the 2nd one. It’s a full frontal view of your face.. The first one is more of like a side profile..

Go with the first one photo. It seem’s to have a more inviting look and it seems to have softer lighting. You look fab either way.

This is not gonna help you…since it is a really tight score, but i prefer #1! Your pose is so much better! Well, by that i mean the first picture looks more professionnal. The second one could be an everyday picture you took yourself..but it is still great!

Hey Sandy, definitely #1, eventhought they are both very pretty, in the 2nd one your 2 front teeth are prominent and I don’e like the lighting (specifically how it forms a shadow on your left eye, cutting your cheek). Sorry if I’m being pickey, just keeping it honest. :`)

Both of the pictures are excellent and well-taken. But, within the both pictures, the one I prefer is the first one. It seems the second picture is taken too close, the first picture gives out all of fixtures and angle. The first picture looks professional and more natural. By the way, your makeup is beautifully done.

I would choose the first one. I used to work for a professional photographer and while both shots are very nice, I think the first one has better contour lines and is a more interesting composite. It is a bit darker than the second one and so I can see where others say your eyes look brighter in the second choice. However, your photographer should be able to easily add adjust the light digitally into the midtones and shadows of #1 in order to bring in more light.

Your second one, is also beautifull, more positive, but also show some kind of “aggressive”…

Hi Sandy #1 because on the second you got dark shadow from the light near your eyes and nose and that’s not good for a make up artist :D so #1 is far more professional
