Thanks so much! I have searched and searched for a tutorial on how to do the smokey eye and this seems really easy. I just have one question. When you apply the black eye liner to the outer corner of your eye, are you applying to the inside corner(like the tight liner technique) of the eye or on the top outer corner? Thanks again!!

Hi Sandy,

Do you have any tips for stage makeup? Last year we did a show with dim lights and everyone’s face looked so white with messy red lips and blush. I am considering taking over the makeup part this year and I have to apply stage makeup to the entire cast (60 people) 6 times for our show. Is it necessary to do the white base first? Any tips would help. I really enjoy your site. Thanks!

well..i love smokey eyes but i’m really clumpsy when it comes to make up. when i decided to search on youtube about some beauty tips, i believed i would see thousands of vids that would help me out. I was really dissappointed when all of those make up artists started talking really fast and i couldn’t keep up. Doing the makeup application on yourself it’s very clever and helpful.

i love smokey eye!
but when i apply it i tend to look like a goth!
i am fair skined and have blonde hair so the jet black goth look insn’t right!
im also a teenager! and don’t want to look to old or sluty for my age!
