Even though the Much Music Video Awards took place several weeks ago here in Toronto – I’m still getting questions about how to get the look of Kim Kardashian.  So, I sent a quick email to Melissa Gibson – M.A.C Sr. Artist – who actually did Kim’s make.up for the awards show – to give us an inside scoop. Take a look:

Sandy:  Describe Kim Kardashian’s look?

Melissa:  Kim Kardashian was an absolute knockout at the MMVA’s!  She decided to go for a sultry but sophisticated look.  Strong black eye liner, sculpted cheeks and nude lips was all she needed.

Sandy:   Give us some quick tips on how-to get this look at home?

Melissa:   This is such a classic look, great for any occasion.  Start with a strong defined brow, then grab a Liquid Liner and give yourself the cat eye appearance.  Define your cheeks with a darker powder and pat on a nude lipstick with extreme gloss for maximum impact.

Sandy:   What is one M.A.C product everyone should have this Summer?

Melissa:   Mineralize Skinfinish Powders.  Grab one that is a shade darker than your skin tone for a soft bronzed effect.
