A few months ago – my wonderful mom – Sarina Gold – was looking for a new eye cream – so I thought it would be fun to send her a few different creams on the market to review for happiface – Take a look:

Review of Eye Creams for Women over 50 – By: Sarina Gold

I recently had the opportunity to compare 3 eye creams:

• Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide Eye Wish

• Estee Lauder’s Time Zone Anti-Line/Wrinkle Eye Cream
  

• Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

I compared them using the following criteria:

• Initial scent

• Feel & texture of the cream

• How they applied

• Initial appearance of the eye area after application

• Other observations

Eye Cream #1:  Elizabeth Arden’s Ceramide Eye Wish

• Pleasant light scent

• Felt light yet refreshing

• A little went a long way – applied very smoothly

• My eye area looked & felt well hydrated

• Only one of the 3 that contains an SPF of 10 – for me I find that my eyes are very sensitive to SPF – that when I peeled onions and my eyes started tearing, I felt a slight irritation from the SPF.

Eye Cream #2 – Estee Lauder’s Time Zone Anti-Line/Wrinkle Eye Cream:

• Light almost non-existent scent

• Light & fresh

• Applied very smoothly

• My eye area looked & felt well hydrated

• No noticeable eye irritation when I peeled those onions ;)

Eye Cream #3 – Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado:

• Light almost herbal scent

• Light & fresh feeling

• The avocado was very refreshing and made my eye area look nice and hydrated.

• Need to dab it on – tends to dry quickly

• Feels like it had a natural firming quality

• No noticeable eye irritation when I peeled those onions ;)

In Conclusion:

My overall favourite was the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment!
