So I went out for dinner this weekend with my sister - Kristina - who couldn’t stop laughing at the static cling problem my hair was having all through dinner!! How is it that her hair had no static and looked fabulous in the Winter? She began to tell me about this new product she had just bought from Sephora called Ojon - Revitalizing Mist. It’s a leave-in conditioner, that not only detangles your hair but leaves it feeling silky soft! Not to mention it smells great and tames your fly-aways! I just tried it and I absolutely love it!! My sister also mentioned to mist it over towel dried hair and comb it through with a wide tooth comb for the perfect pre-styling finish!
FYI: Did you know that brushing your hair while wet has been shown to increase split-ends, while using a wide tooth comb not only prevents this from happening but also de-tangles your hair even more efficiently! HELLO COMB - GOOD-BYE BRUSH!
Smooth Soft Lips in the Winter?

Do you get dry, chapped lips in the Winter and wish they were Summer soft? To help bring back moisture to my lips in the winter I swear by these two products: Medicated Lip Ointment from Blistex and Carmex Lip Balm. Both of these products after just one use my lips literally feel like butter! These products are definitely on my Must Have List!

I absolutely love love love this product! Shiseido Hydro-Powder Eye Shadow. It’s a creamy eyeshadow that turns into a beautiful powder finish, leaving a soft shimmery colour that believe it or not, doesn’t crease! I love this product, because it combines two steps in one. It acts as my eye base and my eyeshadow, it’s long wearing and there’s enough pigment that you can wear them alone or in combination with something else. Yeah!!

Absolutely! A different moisturizer for winter is a must! It is only natural that as the temperature drops below zero, the air outside is obviously colder and drier than in the summer months, which means our poor skin, if not taken care of properly, can become irritated and excessively dry!!…(oh, how I already miss you Summer…the hot sunshine glistening on my shoulders, tanning on the beach, pina colada’s…sigh…i’ll miss you the most, flip flop…only 240 more days till i see you again…)
Here are some quick and easy tips to help protect your skin from the harsh winter conditions!
1. Try using a rich face cream instead of lotion. A cream is a heavier moisturizer than a lotion, which will provide that extra hydration you’re looking for during the colder months! So I came across a mascara that I just absolutely love and had to share with all of you!
I bounce back and forth between two of my favourite mascara’s: Yves Saint Laurent - Faux Cils in black, and L’oreal Voluminous Mascara, now in Carbon Black!
Carbon Black, is a fabulous new blacker than black mascara, that really helps to make your lashes pop! It’s perfect for everyday wear, as well as evening. I just add a few extra coats…without it ever clumping!! I love it!

There are so many things that are hot for fall this year, like the return of the Cat Eye (meeow), Red Lips (we all know how I feel about this one! haha) and of course my two favourites: the Smokey Eye and the Flawless Face!
The Flawless Face this season is all about the glowing skin, soft pink cheeks and of course a nude lip. If you are looking for the perfect nude lipgloss to go with your flawless look or smokey eye, I found an oldie but a goodie that will definitely do the trick. Try using Mac Lipglass in C-Thru. This high gloss shade will surely add a nice glow to compliment your look.

I’ve been getting a lot of e-mails asking me to recommend fabulous make.up products with a low price point. So I went out shopping this weekend…what a hard job that was!!!…and I found some amazing products that I absolutely loved, all for under $25! Here is what I found…
1. Bella il Fiore Moisturizing Mint Lipgloss - I loved these glosses…not only did they have the perfect amount of shine, they weren’t sticky and they had an amazing mint smell…and to top it all off, they are only $13!! My favorite colour was, Kate.
2. Tinte cosmetics - I love love love the Shimmering face pearls!! Okay, so where should i begin…I was completely blown away with the texture and pigment of these lil’ guys!! You can wear them wet or dry…use it as an eye shadow or on your face as an illuminator/bronzer or blush. You can also add them straight to your favourite lipgloss…you know how much I love doing that!! It adds such a nice glow to your lips!! And you can get them for $14!! I loved all the colours, but my fav’s were: Bronze glow and sun kissed!! (more…)

I believe that no look is ever complete without mascara. I always remember my mom telling me and my two sisters that no matter what, she never leaves the house without her mascara on! And today, I so agree!
There are a lot of great products on the market, and no matter how hard I look there is never going to be one magic mascara that is great for everyone. Because every woman has their own different needs and eye lashes.
