Scrub A Dub Dub!
December 3, 08
A lot of women forget to exfoliate in the Winter – but it’s super important – because not only does it remove dry, dead skin cells that lye on the surface of the skin, it also helps to keep your skin soft and smooth all year long! And who doesn’t want that!
This morning I tried the sugar plum triple butter sugar scrub by H2O and it was amazing! The smell alone sold me right away, but the way my legs and feet felt afterwards was incredible!
The moisture, hydration and softness is added by the infusion of mango, shea and cocoa butter. The delightful scent is a mixture of juicy bursts of natural plum extract (yummy!) and sun-blushed citrus.
You can use this product and most exfoliators right in the shower – just massage over damp skin in a circular motion, concentrating on dry rough areas – then rinse well! And voila soft skin in minutes!

Hair looking dry and dull?
December 1, 08
Is your hair looking dry and dull? Well, welcome to the club! I recently started swimming every week for exercise with my fiance – it’s such an incredible workout and I love it! – however, the chlorine in the pool has made my hair a complete mess – aaaahhhhhhhh!
So I went for a visit to see my Uncle Marcello – who’s a fabulous hairstylist in Toronto – who told me that I should try using a treatment for my hair. He recommended Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo.
I bought it a few weeks ago – used it only twice and my hair – honestly – is almost completely back to normal!
The Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo is a treatment that instantly removes (and it really does!) up to 95% of dulling residue caused by hair products, conditioners and shampoos.
Used just once a week, it cleans your hair thoroughly and rinses away to reveal healthy and shiny hair again! Plus, it works with all hair types and smells fantastic!
I absolutely love this product and recommend it to anyone who’s hair needs a little kick!
A Definite Must Have!
P.S. I now use a swim cap! lol

Soft Hands in the Winter!
November 26, 08
It never fails, that when the cold weather arrives, my hands are the first thing to get really really dry.
So, it’s super important to use a good hand cream all throughout the day and especially at night.
I recently started using the Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve at night before bed, and it works amazing!
Its not greasy, absorbs super quick and in the morning, my hands feel like butter!
The formulation is made up of a blend of botanical oils like: Avocado, Eucalyptus, Sesame Seed and natural wax derived from Olive Oil to soothe, moisturize and condition the skin. And, when applied, it actually forms a “glove-like” protective barrier to help prevent moisture loss.
This is a Definite Winter Must Have!
And, don’t forget to Wake.up & Make.up!
