The Banana Facial

We all know that Banana’s are full of vitamins and minerals – but, did you know that they also contain rich, natural oils, that are great for hydrating the skin!
Ladies, let me introduce you to the Banana Facial! An incredible recipe that you can do from home, using ingredients from your very own cupboard!
And, if you’ve never tried this before – it’s a must! It leaves your skin feeling fresh, hydrated and super soft! Here’s how:
You’ll Need:
1 Ripe Organic Banana
1 Tbsp. Organic Honey
2 Tsp. Organic Sugar
Directions:
1. Finely mash one ripe banana in a bowl. Mix in 1-tablespoon honey and 2 teaspoons sugar.
2. Apply on the face and neck in a circular motion. Leave on for 5 minutes, then, rinse off with cool water.
And voila! Fresh and hydrated in minutes!
**I also heard that if applied on the face it could help prevent early onset of wrinkles! Yiippeee!

Vibrating Mascara

Vibrating Mascara’s are everywhere these days. From Estée Lauder’s (TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara – $32), Lancôme’s (Ôscillation – $34), to the all new Maybelline (Pulse Perfection Vibrating Mascara - $15).
The idea behind the Vibrating Mascara Wand is that the brush vibrates – moving rapidly – to create extra volume, length, curl and more. And, all you have to do is hold the brush at the base of your lashes and move it upwards in a slow motion. The vibrations of the wand, will then zig-zag it’s way through your lashes making them look fuller, longer and clump-free.
I just tried it this weekend and I have to say – that unfortunately – I wasn’t blown away. Let’s just say that I won’t be trading in my regular mascara for the vibrating wand anytime soon! :(
